Terms of Service
Last updated September 4, 2026
By creating an account or using KIBHI, you agree to these terms.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to create a KIBHI account. If you're under 18, you should have a parent or guardian's permission to use the app. Calling and Live have their own, stricter age requirement; see Calling and Live below.
Your account
You're responsible for keeping your password confidential and for anything posted under your account. Give an accurate username; don't impersonate someone else.
Your content
You keep ownership of any video, caption, or bio you post. KIBHI does not claim ownership of your content. By posting it, you give KIBHI a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to host, store, reproduce, modify (for technical purposes, such as watermarking your username onto a video or re-encoding it for playback), adapt, publish, publicly perform, publicly display, and distribute that content, and to use it to promote KIBHI itself, including in advertising on or off the app. Deleting a post or your account ends this license going forward; copies already made for backups, legal compliance, or promotional material published before deletion may continue to exist for a reasonable time.
KIBHI automatically adds a small "@username" watermark to videos you post, similar to other short-video apps, so a clip is still credited to you if it's downloaded or shared elsewhere.
Acceptable use
Don't use KIBHI to post, share, or say over a call or Live:
- content that's illegal, or that infringes someone else's copyright or other rights
- harassment, hate speech, or content that threatens or endangers others
- malware, spam, or attempts to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the service
- sexual content involving, or that otherwise endangers, anyone under 18
Accounts or content that violate this may be removed without notice, and where the law requires it we'll report illegal content or activity, including anything involving the sexual exploitation of a minor, to the relevant authorities.
Platform role
KIBHI hosts content that users post; we don't review or endorse it before it goes live. Views expressed in a post, comment, message, call, or Live match are the user's, not KIBHI's.
Copyright
KIBHI respects intellectual property rights and expects the same from everyone using the app. If you believe something posted on KIBHI infringes your copyright, email the address below with: a description of the copyrighted work, a link to (or description of) where it appears on KIBHI, your contact information, and a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use isn't authorized and that your notice is accurate. We'll review it and remove infringing content where appropriate. Accounts that repeatedly infringe may be terminated.
Calling and Live
KIBHI lets you start a video or voice call with another user, and, separately, "Live" matches you into a one-on-one video call with another KIBHI user who's also looking to connect right then. You can move on to someone else at any time. You must be at least 18 to use either. Neither is moderated the way a posted video is: nobody reviews a call or a Live match before it happens, so you're relying on the person you're connected with to also follow these terms. Block and report the other person if they don't; see Acceptable use above for what that covers, and note it applies here too. Calls and Live matches aren't recorded or stored by KIBHI; see the Privacy Policy for exactly what is.
Account suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if you violate these terms, particularly the Acceptable use section. You can delete your own account at any time from Settings. Sections that by their nature should survive account termination, including Your content's license for already-distributed uses and Limitation of liability below, continue to apply afterward.
Third-party services
KIBHI relies on third-party services to operate: Google for sign-in, Stripe for advertiser payments, Cloudflare to relay calls, Cloudinary to host video, Neon for the database, and Firebase for push notifications on the native apps. Features backed by these services are also subject to that provider's own terms.
No warranty
KIBHI is an independent project provided "as is," to the fullest extent permitted by law, with no guarantee of uptime, data preservation, or fitness for any particular purpose. Don't rely on it as your only copy of anything important.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, KIBHI and its operator aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the app. KIBHI's total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to whichever is greater: the amount you've paid KIBHI in the past 12 months, or $50. Some jurisdictions don't allow these limitations, so parts of this may not apply to you.
Indemnification
You agree to defend and indemnify KIBHI against any claim, loss, or expense, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your use of the app, your content, or your violation of these terms.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. If a dispute comes up, contact us first at the email below; we'd genuinely rather resolve it directly. Anything that can't be resolved that way will be handled in the courts with jurisdiction over KIBHI, consistent with applicable law.
Changes
These terms may be updated as the app changes. Continuing to use KIBHI after a change means you accept the update.
