About

Short videos and real people, in one app.

KIBHI is an independent project: a short-video feed and a live 1:1 video app, built as one product instead of two. No parent company, no ad-tech stack bolted on. Just an app built to be used, not optimized purely for time spent in it.

Quality over volume

Every upload has to clear a real technical bar (resolution, bitrate, not mostly black or frozen frames) before it can post. KIBHI would rather have fewer videos worth watching than an endless feed of noise.

Connection, not just consumption

Live exists because scrolling alone isn't the same as meeting someone. It's built as a real, immediate way to talk to a new person, not another feed to watch.

You keep what's yours

You own the videos you post. KIBHI needs a license to host and show them, the same as any platform, but it never claims ownership of your work.

How KIBHI is built

KIBHI runs on its own real infrastructure, not a demo that resets: a Postgres database, real account security (salted password hashes, verified email at signup), and native apps alongside the web app, all built from the same product. It's a small, independently built project, and it says so plainly in its own Privacy Policy rather than dressing itself up as something bigger. What it lacks in size, it makes up for in actually caring about the details: video quality standards, automated safety screening, and a calling and Live experience built with real WebRTC engineering, not a third-party widget.
