Account deletion

Delete your account and data.

You can delete your Kibhi account yourself, in under a minute, from either the app or the web.

How to delete your account

  1. Log in to Kibhi (on the web at kibhi.com, or in the Android app).
  2. Go to Profile → Settings.
  3. Scroll to the Danger Zone section at the bottom.
  4. Tap Delete account, enter your current password if your account has one (a Google-only account has nothing to enter here), and confirm.

This takes effect immediately — there's no waiting period, and no admin has to approve it.

Can't log in?

Email support@kibhi.com from the address on your account (or tell us your username) and ask us to delete it for you. We verify it's really your account before acting on an email request, which can take a little longer than doing it yourself in Settings.

What actually gets deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, your own posts, your messages, your follows/followers, and your login credentials. This can't be undone.

Two narrow exceptions, so this page stays accurate rather than overpromising: comments you left on other people's posts stay visible under the username you had at the time, rather than being removed — deleting them would also delete the context of that conversation for the other person, and your account is no longer linked to them or reachable from them in any way (your profile itself is gone) — and video file cleanup on our storage provider happens on a best-effort basis, so on rare occasions a deleted video's underlying file may take a little longer to clear than the rest of your data.
